The fabric is papery and raffia like and is subtly different and very chic. You can use it as a handbag or shopping bag. The straps are made from a gold metallic and cotton weave strapping which are soft and flexible but strong to carry all your beachy bits and bobs. All Cockatoo beach bags are fully lined in hot pink water resistant fabric, they also have an internal zipped up pocket and a gold magnetic popper, and on one side of the bag the straps aren't sewn down all the way so you can slip your wet towel or sarong through so everything else inside the bag doesn't get soggy.
